Tumblebooks is a great website with TONS of fiction and non-fiction books to choose from. The kiddos are able to select a story by reading level, topic, or author. The stories are read aloud to the children with some animations added to the pictures. This is a perfect site to build your child's stamina for listening to stories. User Name: arbor Password: books
National Geographic Young Explorer offers TONS of super non-fiction books for the kiddos to explore.
IXL is the perfect website to hone those math skills. Once the kiddos open the site, they will need to select the K level to work in. They may choose any lesson to work in as long as it's a good fit for them. Right now we are focusing on counting, comparing numbers, and are working on numbers 0-20. Both user name and password are their lunch/library ID number.
Starfall has so many resources it's hard to keep up. They have letter activities that the kiddos LOVE. Once they are ready, they have easy readers that are perfect for beginning levels. They also offer more challenging readers that are also interactive. This is a class favorite!
